Food Eating Food

I once heard a statement that really bothered me. At the time, coming from a religious person and falling on the ears of an ex-Catholic turned atheist with psychological religious scar tissue, it sounded pathetic.

At a heated point in our conversation, he said, “It starts with God and ends with God”. I thought it was ‘nonsense’ without really thinking about it. I really saw no wisdom in the statement at all, especially in what I thought was a civilised world of peace treaties and advanced technology. We well understand the God thing, it’s a bunch of superstitious garbage believed by people who take little responsibility–so I thought.

I’m no more religious today than I was fifteen years ago but I do wonder about this force of good. Why? Well, because, the same way one dimension confirms the existence of another and if man identifies a place that they call the east there is sure to be a west. Therefore the constancy of all the poisons in our society leads me to wonder: if there is really an extreme dark force out there just corrupting everything natural. Following the same line of thought would logically bring one to the conclusion that there must certainly be an opposite – an extreme light. Something that creates out of the darkness.

We all know the conditions of a diamond and also the pain endured to bring forth a little tiny human.  Could that be what we try to give the name God? Even the use of dark force conjuring up an aggression towards anything black and the confusion that ensues seems almost testimony to this.

At this point, I must say carbon is really the building block for life in nature and it’s really the source of rejuvenation. Burn a forest and you will see the most fertile platform for the most healthy source of existence. Adding to that, take raw animal waste and garbage and you have the perfect soil for the most nutritious food and we all know the one about the lotus flower.

In fact, if it wasn’t for phenomena like this we would have already been extinct with all the efforts that (I’m not sure if I can call it that anymore) man has made in the way of attacking nature.

I couldn’t quite understand (thank god) why something as devastating to the brain as Monosodium Glutamate could be placed on shelves in our supermarkets around the world. I noticed soon after the deadly ingredient had been exposed it shortened its name–MSG now, then got smaller then eventually it shyly backed away from most of our snack wrappers. But no, it didn’t, it just had a legal name change and that was fine with the FSA. They just hid it in the very ambiguous title ‘natural flavouring’. Seriously ‘Natural’ & ‘flavouring’? How the…

But that wasn’t all, there are many other harmful ingredients hiding under the guise of natural flavouring on our shelves that are nothing that you would consider natural at all. I stand corrected, poison is ‘natural’ as is death. Yet even ‘death’ by natural causes is usually caused by accelerated conditions like a knock on effect through poor diet or ‘NHS drugs’. And so we come to aspartame and it’s cousins that all end with the same three letters: OSE.

According to Gov.UK, “There are around 32,000 stroke-related deaths in England each year”, Feb 1, 2018. Have we ever questioned how many of those were related to the regular consumption of a favourite food eatable containing these ingredients? I’m sure we haven’t and I would bet money that the argument for not looking at this is the ambiguity around the legal definition of natural as in death or ‘flavourings’.

So, Senomyx develops patented flavor enhancers by using “proprietary taste receptor-based assay systems.” These receptors are made from HEK293. HEK stands for Human Embryonic Kidney cells. These cells, which were cloned, originally came from healthy, electively aborted human embryos. Using information from the human genome sequence, Senomyx has identified hundreds of taste receptors and currently owns 113 patents on their discoveries. The company claims to have essentially “reverse engineered” the receptors in humans that react for taste and aroma, and that they are capitalizing on these discoveries to produce chemicals that will make food taste better.

I’ll run that by you again in street terms. You know those aborted fetuses that some people don’t want to talk about let alone know what happened to them, they are picked up by companies like Senomyx, they then modify and shrink, grow and morph tissue and do their science thing with the hope that they can create some commercial value with their Frankenstein by getting the interest of a major company that will eventually get it into your food. BTW, you can purchase them here for around $400.

And with that, they obviously have had much corporate interest, especially from Nestle, Coca Cola, and Pepsi. And you thought the embryo above was for cute sake. No, this ‘ingredient’ is the typical ingredient that you and I may see as harmless when labelled as ‘Natural Flavouring’.

Such mischief seems to go beyond human, especially when you add that to the words of Nestle’s president, Peter Brabeck-Letmathe when he claims that it’s an extreme view to think that ‘Water is public’ and that ‘it is foodstuff like any other and should be valued and regulated, I would assume he means valued by an authority.  There was once another Austrian man who had similar views.

I think the whole blanket that seems to have swaddled human brain cells is called separation, segregation, division, severance, partition. Add to that a little political blame on people who cannot afford a piece of kidney let alone regulate the culinary distribution of human parts and you have the perfect support for an assault on nature while companies profit and we kill each other with human flesh inside our stomachs.

It seems, either I keep finding out negative food information or there is indeed a force that despises nature with a passion. I’m sure you remember the bees getting confused and cross-pollinating, cross-contaminating pure natural flowers with foreign GMO ones that spread throughout the earth–thank Monsanto and Bill Gates.

At the end of it all, I can’t use my senses to reason out whether or not there is any truth in the idea of God but I do know, what the religious call a devil, is really out there–when last did you check the state of the soil, the earth, and the air? I will conclude that hell is a time and not a place and even in hiding this blatant truth there is a strong indication of a cheeky rebel on the earth with advocates all over the food industry: and I thought horse meat in Mc Donalds was a far stretch of the imagination.

Good luck, you’ll need it.
